Here we are month 4 of the life story series!! if you’ve missed past months you can just scroll down and check the past few months out.. basically me and some amazing photographer friends from around the globe all put up a blog post at the same time and link each other.. we have all decided to take more pictures of our daily lives.. our kids being kids or whatever we feel like shooting that month. at the end of this blog post you will see a link to the next blog.. grab a coffee and click through and enjoy the work of these awesome photogs!!
This month my story is about our backyard rink.. this is our first year building one and we chose a terrible year to do it. it’s been soo warm. it’s been more of a pond then a rink. but the two days where it was actually frozen it got a lot of use.
my daughter was goalie for her hockey team this particular weekend so she was able to get some practice in net before the game!
my middle son was cheering not because he scored (though he did) but because he caused his dad to fall in the process.. yup that’s him laid out on the ice in the background lol

yup she sure was a little angel the day of our session! such a sweet little 2 year old. she was such a good model and so adorable!! she loved my wooden box and wanted it to be in all the pictures with her… she kept trying to carry it around lol..

ready for another adorable baby girl!!!! this little cutie was born just the day after the last baby girl i have on my blog.. and the moms are good friends! how fun!!! we had a nice quiet morning, as big brother was sleeping in the next room after some time this little sweetie settled down into a nice sleep and was a great little model!!!
i have this on my facebook page but had to post it again… i love her little pout!!!

another year another session with this family! i’ve loved watching their family grow bigger..and the children get older!! The last time i photographed them was little mans newborn pics. he certainly has grown since then.. you can take a peak at them here.. i love all the giggles and laughter in these pics!
gotta love fall!!!! love the cool air and the crisp leaves! had so much fun walking through the park with this family!!! the little girls are adorable!! the youngest has graced my blog not too long ago with her newborn images seen here.

i love fall…i really love fall..but i am sad to see summer go this year…anyways i’m slowly getting behind on my blogging and i want to catch back up….. i took these images a week ago and really wanted to get them up last week but it just didn’t happen. it was a beautiful afternoon… warm weather..gorgeous colors.. a few crazy boys..and mosquitoes yuck..but other then the bugs it was a fun night.. i think the boys had a good time and enjoyed their mcdonalds afterwards!!! gotta love bribes!!!

over the weekend i met and spent an hour with this adorable expectant mom!!! a little over a week until she is due and i was expecting a very pregnant uncomfortable woman!! i was so surprised to see this little bump!! we had hemmed and hawed over different locations and finally settled on an apple orchard.. so glad we did it was beautiful there!!! i definitely want to go back to meleg’s lakeside orchard with my kids and get some apples and take more pictures!!! definitely worth the drive out to kingsville!!!
I’m looking forward to getting the call that this little baby is born!!! can’t wait to meet her and share her newborn pictures in the coming weeks!!! praying for a safe and pain free delivery!!
how cute is this little girl… within 10 seconds of meeting her she is up and in my arms.. so adorable!!
miss me?? i’ve been MIA all summer.. had too much fun with my family enjoying the warm weather..splashing in the pool…relaxing by the lake…it was a fun summer. my poor blog on the other hand was badly neglected.. i hope to fix that soon!!
here are a few pictures i got one night while we were up north…the kids were great and really cooperated and they ended up in the lake in their clothes when we were all finished.. a storm was coming and the waves were rolling in..it was too good to resist!!
the aftermath!!
last week i got to meet this adorable little baby girl. along with her mom i also got to meet big brother and grandma!! this little baby girl is obviously well loved by each of them and daddy too! they were such a sweet family and i really enjoyed the time i got to spend with them waiting for little miss to settle and fall asleep. she decided that the day of her pictures she would be extra alert but she finally gave in and settled in for a nice sleep.
big brother was such a great helper and loves his baby sister very much!!
