Well it finally came.. hockey’s final day!  the day of champions!! Where all the future hockey stars get to play one last game and receive their coveted trophy!!!  It’s always a fun day for the kids and for the parents and families.  There is always a large crowd cheering on the kids!!

So here is a peek into both of my boys day of champions!! i have more pictures of my younger son.. my older son’s team made it into the finals and it was a bit of a nail biter… unfortunately they lost their game.. but it was still all smiles when they got their runners up trophy.   They also gave the trophies on the ice since it was the finals.

i don’t know how i ended up with 2 cats.. i don’t even like cats. Somehow i got suckered into it. So Max our sweet annoying cat is super naughty. I’m not even sure he’s 100% cat there must be a bit of dog in him. He likes to chew. His favorite flavor is charger cords from our phones, Dsi’s, cameras. he also chews wood, books, flipflops, foam anything like swords and balls oh and rugs too. We thought maybe he was bored so we went to the Human Society and adopted a friend to keep him busy.

After looking at the website we feel in love with a little kitty that looked just like max. After getting there and looking at all the kitties we saw little braveheart. He was so small and so cute and had a little freckle on his nose. We knew he was ours!!

So this is the story of Braveheart. My little shadow.. who follows me around all day. If he’s not passed out somewhere then he is sitting at my feet or chasing after me.

Shortly after he came home i spent the day following him around trying to get a picture of him.. he was full of energy and fast and well it was a challenge to say the least. So most of these are from the first few days with us and then a few recent ones at the end..

wow that was a lot of cat pictures.. lol sorry about that.

It was a cool rainy morning but it was a now or never situation!  Thankfully the rain started to fall just as we finished up!

There’s been a battle brewing at my house for a long time.

The battle of the long long long hair.  She promised she was going to grow it out and then cut it off and donate it so that they could make wigs for children that lost their hair due to illness.   But the hair kept growing and growing and  scissors never made their appearance.  You see my daughter became very very attached to her long beautiful hair.  But all the brushing and braiding she could do without.
Nervous or excited??? I think a bit of both…

the best part of chopping your hair off is having a friend to do it with!! Kaitlyn’s best friend Maddi went first and kaitlyn pinky promised she would do it too!  She jumped off the bus and declared that we must go the same place her friend went to and even had a little map drawn out as to where the salon was in the plaza.

but with lots of patience and love from mom and dad..tickles and swinging her up high in the air she gave in to the fun.. and broke out in some adorable big smiles!!

spent a warm fall evening with these 3 sisters!!! i know they are going to grow up having so much fun together.. and lets be honest i bet they will have some epic battles too! lol but for now it’s lots of giggles and playing house, having tea parties, colouring and taking care of baby dolls!!
